The Teacher Artist Partnership is a ground-breaking professional development programme for artists and teachers across London. It runs part-time over a year encompassing teaching sessions, tutorials, performance attendance, action research projects in schools, an international visit or seminar and an assignment.

 

All twenty participants who took part in the first programme were successful in gaining their accreditation towards the Graduate Diploma in Professional Studies at the Institute of Education, University of London.

The second cohort started in September 2006. All TAPP participants had the opportunity to share their experiences and learning with practitioners from Italy, Spain and Portugal at an international seminar held in London over 3 days in April. Twenty five TAPP participants completed their action research projects and assignments this July and are currently awaiting accreditation from the Institute of Education.
